# Build with agents. Stay in control.

> Get started with Gatetrix Access, d0, and MTS: permissions, dashboards, and a shared workspace for agent work.

Gatetrix is a suite of local-first macOS apps for humans and agents working together.
Choose the app that fits what you want to do first.

## How the apps fit together

Each app has a different job. You can start with one and connect the others when
you need them.

| App | Its role | A first useful result |
| - | - | - |
| **Access** | Controls the connections and operations available to an agent profile. | An agent reads information from one approved source. |
| **d0** | Runs small HTML, CSS, and JavaScript apps in a native Mac app. | A dashboard displays public data without a development server. |
| **MTS** | Keeps project plans, conversations, workflows, and progress together. | A teammate completes a small task and records its result. |

d0 can use Access for business data. MTS teammates can use Access for external
tools. A public-data dashboard in d0 does not require Access, and MTS can manage
project work without an Access connection.

## Start small

1. Install the app from its Gatetrix download page.
2. Follow its quickstart with one dashboard, connection, or task.
3. Confirm the result before expanding permissions or scope.

The current Mac downloads are beta releases for Apple silicon. Access requires
macOS 13 or newer; d0 and MTS require macOS 13.5 or newer. The download pages list
the requirements for each app.
