The Mac app is where you configure Access and review its activity. Start with Connect your first agent, then use these areas for daily work.

Inbox

The Inbox brings together agent status updates and approval requests. Read an update for context, or inspect a pending operation before deciding it. An approval request describes work waiting for your decision, not a completed action. See Approvals and audit.

Audit Log

Use Audit Log to inspect operations, the profile that made them, and their outcomes. It is useful for understanding an unexpected result or checking that a new connection is being used as intended. The log covers activity through Access; it cannot show actions an agent performed independently elsewhere.

Jobs

Jobs contains one-off tasks and scheduled runs. A one-off task records work to do and its eventual outcome. A scheduled task defines a prompt, timing, agent profile, and optional workspace; its runs record individual occurrences. Use Scheduled Tasks to configure recurring work, then follow runs in Jobs. An agent must pick up and perform the work through Access. Creating a schedule does not itself install or launch a coding agent, or grant it extra permissions.

Workspaces

A workspace groups work around a project, repository, or folder. It gives tasks and updates a shared context and helps route them to the right agent. Workspace visibility is separate from file and connector access. Assigning a workspace to a profile does not automatically grant access to its folder or external accounts. Configure those grants explicitly. Human Operators and Viewers see the workspaces selected for their profiles.

Configuration and access channels

Select the intended agent profile before editing its Folders, Connectors, or permissions. Human Profiles controls iPhone and Mobile API identities. MCP Credentials creates tokens for agent clients. Under Access Channels, CLI, MCP, and Mobile API have separate switches. Configuration Mode separately controls delegated connector setup. See Profiles and permissions and Interfaces.
