An agent cannot see a tool

  1. Keep the relevant Mac app open.
  2. Check that agent access and the selected MCP transport are enabled.
  3. Confirm the credential belongs to the intended profile or connection.
  4. Check the resource grants and allowed operations for that identity.
  5. After upgrading, refresh the agent’s MCP connection. In MTS, start a new conversation if new tools are missing from an older conversation.
A saved connection may still need sign-in, tool review, or an explicit grant before it can be used.

Setup works, but an operation is denied

In Access, check profiles, grants, and approvals. In d0, check both the dashboard’s trusted version and its runtime permissions. In MTS, check the connection’s project scope and allowed actions. If a write returned an uncertain result, inspect its status before trying again. Repeating the request can create a second action in the connected service.

Send useful feedback

Use the app’s feedback action, where available, or email hello@gatetrix.ai. Include:
  • The product, app version, and macOS version.
  • What you wanted to do and the steps you took.
  • What happened and what you expected instead.
  • The error message, with private information removed.
Do not include API keys, passwords, MCP tokens, or private customer data. For a suspected security issue, contact us directly and start with a brief description of the affected product and behavior. For feature requests, describe the task you want to accomplish. That helps us understand the need behind the requested change.
